From 5th March - 10th April 2011 Peter's Blood can be seen at Sign gallery in Groningen, the Netherlands. It is part of "a group exhibition 'Signs & Systems' which presents a number of artworks in which wilful archiving is the main factor. The way of collecting and arranging, the transformation to design, the encyclopaedic search; all this shifts original meanings and creates new realities."
I also designed the flyer ↓ for the exhibition.
This time the drawing is positioned on a wall that runs through two floors. The drawing can be followed from ground floor through a spiral staircase to the floor down. The family tree uses the same techniques and symbols as the first time around. Nevertheless the distances between the descendants and their positions are radically different as the drawing is always made organically according to the space. The information has stayed the same, but the image has changed.
